For three weeks from the end of January to the middle of February we were able to return to The Visitors Gallery and Sir Harold Hilliers Gardens in Romsey. This lovely show, entitled Emergence, was very well attended, despite inclement weather at times, and it was with much joy that we were able to see what we had all been working on during the past two years.

Upcoming shows will  include certain members of 2d3dSouth from 1st - 10th April, the second Flower Power exhibition at the commercial gallery, The Yellow Edge in Gosport.
The group will the return to Yellow Edge for Getting our Art Together from 17th - 21st May

There is also an intention  from members to contribute to the mixed exhibition at Southampton City Art Gallery , What does Culture mean to you?, which takes place later in the year.

We were pleased to finally take part in a practical workshop in November.
One of our members, Frances Mason led us all in producing landscapes using the needlefelting technique, making use of yarns produced from her own angora goats.
This is a very labour intensive exercise, and required extreme concentration.
Subsequently, Netflix showed a stop motion film over Christmas, Robin Robin, in which all of the figures were made using the neddlefelting technique. This film made us appreciate the complexity of the film and the amount of time expended over making all of the figures.
