The subject matter of most of Marjorie's paintings since coming to live in Hampshire have evolved from her walking and exploring her immediate surroundings. And have lead to the making of the 'Icon-scape' series. These show a different approach to the landscape and a sense of place.
Using an oil medium on a layered background with metal leaf to give a special finish, they can be shown free standing if required.
