My background in teaching art and art history have led me to love work from a wide variety of cultures.
My work therefore splits into different categories: travel based paintings, recent paintings of abandoned vehicles of many sorts and general paintings with a wide subject range. I trained in the 1960s as a painter and printmaker and continue to practice printmaking.
In addition, I have been involved with Catalyst, a group of women artists and scientists, who produce work every year based on a scientific stimulus. This is particularly valuable as it forces me to work outside my comfort zone, often working in three dimensions.
